Markgräflerland roots

Southern Baden is one of Germany’s most exciting culinary regions. We work with what the region offers: Markgräfler wine from small family wineries between Müllheim and Weil, asparagus from Hügelheim, game from the Black Forest, trout from the Wiese valley streams, cheese from the high pastures.

We don’t name the farms and producers here, some prefer not to be public. Whoever plans with us learns in conversation where the saddle of venison, the wine and the strawberries come from. Seasonal is not a marketing word for us, it is the frame we cook in.

    Beyond the 100 km. For larger events we gladly go as far as southern Freiburg, the Hochrhein and the Black Forest hinterland.

    We cater regularly on the Swiss side (Basel, Aargau, Basel-Land) and in Alsace. Customs and VAT, we handle them.

All of southern Baden, from Müllheim and the Markgräflerland in the north down to Bad Säckingen in the east, including Lörrach, Weil am Rhein, Rheinfelden, Schopfheim and the Wiese valley. The list on this page isn’t exhaustive, just ask for your town.
02 How much does catering in southern Baden cost? +
From canapés at €35 per person to a three-course menu at €95 per person, up to a Signature wedding at Michelin level from €200 per person. The exact figure depends on the occasion, the guest count and the venue, we quote transparently and in writing.
03 How far in advance should we enquire? +
For weddings and large summer events (May to September, weekends), we recommend 3 to 12 months in advance. For corporate and private events, a few weeks are often enough. A short enquiry is enough, we’ll tell you straight whether the date works.
04 Do you also deliver beyond 100 km? +
Our standard radius is 100 km from Grenzach-Wyhlen, that covers all of southern Baden, Basel, Aargau and large parts of Alsace. Beyond 100 km on request. For larger events we gladly go further, as far as Freiburg, Basel-Land or Alsace.
05 Do you do weddings in the Black Forest? +
Yes. Communal farms, barns, mountain inns and private estates on the southern slope of the Black Forest, we work there regularly. We bring tableware, glasses, staff and the full kitchen logistics, even when no kitchen is available.
